Founder office hours
Nick Spirakus · Founder of PointBagel · 15+ years maximizing points
An hour with me to sort out your points wallet.
I built PointBagel. If you'd rather have me look at your cards and your goals with you for an hour and write up a plan than figure it all out yourself, here's how.
Who this is for
- You hold several premium cards and the math is getting messy
- You've got a big trip coming up and want a redemption plan that's actually yours
- You're sitting on a big points balance and unsure how to use it
- You want a second opinion before applying for two or three new cards
- You're tired of optimizing this yourself and just want someone to tell you what to do
Who this isn't for
- You have one or two cards and a single question. Email support, it's free.
- You want a travel agent. I plan strategy; I don't book itineraries.
- You want ongoing portfolio management. This is a one-time session.
How it works
- 01
Fill out a short intake form and pay $500.
Five minutes. The intake is what I prep against before our call.
- 02
Pick a time.
Your confirmation email includes a calendar link and a booking reference. Use the link to pick a slot; paste the reference into the booking form so I can confirm payment.
- 03
We meet for 60 minutes on Google Meet.
I come ready. We dive into what you actually need.
- 04
You get a written plan within 48 hours after we meet.
Google Doc, yours to keep, you can comment on it forever.
About
I'm Nick. I built PointBagel because I got tired of spreadsheets. 15+ years of credit card maximizing, opinions earned the slow way. I offer this because some folks would rather just have a human look at their portfolio with them than learn to optimize it themselves. Nothing wrong with that.
Pricing
$500
for the session and the written plan
Limited to 4 sessions per month. Currently accepting bookings.
What this is, and what it isn't
An office hours session is education. I look at your cards, your spending, and your goals, and I tell you what I would do. That is a specific answer for a specific person, and it is still not financial, tax, legal, or credit advice. I'm not a financial advisor, a credit counselor, an accountant, or a fiduciary, and an hour on Google Meet doesn't make me one.
Three things I can't promise, because nobody can:
- That you'll be approved for a card. Issuers decide that, and they don't explain themselves to me.
- That you'll qualify for a welcome bonus. Those rules belong to the issuer, they differ from person to person, and they change.
- Any particular dollar outcome. Every number I put in front of you is an estimate.
Your card issuer's terms are the ones that govern, and they can change after we talk. Verify anything that matters directly with the issuer or loyalty program before you act on it. You make the calls. My job is to make sure you're making them with better information.
Book your session
Fill this out and you'll be taken to secure checkout. Once paid, you'll get a confirmation email with your booking link to pick a time.
FAQ
- What if my situation changes after I book?
- You can reschedule once at no charge. Second reschedule is a $100 fee.
- Do you take refunds?
- Not if you cancel - the prep work and writeup are real work I do regardless of how the conversation lands. If I have to cancel, you get a full refund and we'll find another time.
- Can I book multiple sessions?
- Yes, though most folks only need one. Book again whenever your situation changes.
- What if I have just one quick question?
- Email support, it's free. Many questions don't need a paid session.
- Is the session tax-deductible?
- Sometimes, if your card optimization is for business purposes. Ask your accountant.
