PointBagel in ChatGPT

PointBagel is published in the ChatGPT app directory. Install it, sign in, and ask ChatGPT about your own wallet: which card to use, what your points are worth, and whether a fee still earns its keep. Read-only, free to connect, and every figure it quotes was computed by PointBagel.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, then Browse plugins.
  2. Search for PointBagel and open it. The tile reads "Credit card points, optimized".
  3. Choose Install plugin, then Connect, and approve access with your PointBagel sign-in.
  4. Ask in your own words.

Install labels follow OpenAI's published help text; the last end-to-end connect we walked was on the custom-connector path, August 15, 2026.

Free to install, and it works on a free ChatGPT account today. No Plugins tab in your workspace? Add it as a custom connector instead.

After you connect

  1. Add your cards at pointbagel.com/cards, by hand or by connecting a bank. Manual cards are free; Free syncs one card.
  2. Identify each synced account: a synced account scores nothing until you say which card it is.
  3. Ask. The assistant relays what the engine computed from the wallet you just built.

Common questions

Is PointBagel in the ChatGPT app directory?

Yes. PointBagel has been published in the ChatGPT app directory since August 27, 2026. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, choose Browse plugins, search for PointBagel, and install it. It connects to your PointBagel account through the same read-only approval screen every client uses.

I connected from ChatGPT, but it says I have no cards. What now?

The connection is working and the wallet is empty. Add your cards at pointbagel.com/cards, by hand or by connecting a bank through Plaid, then identify each synced account as the card it is. Until then the assistant can answer about any card in the catalog, but it has nothing of yours to compute from.

Does it work on the free plan?

Yes. Connecting needs no paid plan, and nine of the ten tools answer on Free, including which card to use, what your points are worth, how much of each statement credit you have used, fee verdicts, the best way to use a program's points, transfer bonuses, welcome-offer progress, application eligibility, and published facts for any card in the catalog. Free syncs one card automatically, so the answers that read imported transactions cover that card. The exception is card_impact, the deeper projection of how a new card would change your year, which is part of Plus.

How do I disconnect it?

In PointBagel, open Settings, then Connected assistants, and disconnect the connection. Signing out of all devices revokes every connected assistant at once. In ChatGPT you can also uninstall the plugin from its listing, and in claude.ai you can remove the connector under Settings, then Connectors.
