Connect PointBagel to Claude
Add PointBagel to Claude as a custom connector, then ask about your own cards, points and annual fees in any chat. It is free to connect and read-only.
We submitted PointBagel to Anthropic's connector directory on August 14, 2026. Review is pending.
What you need
- Custom connectors work on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free allows one custom connector.
- On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds the connector for the organization first. Each member then finds PointBagel under Connectors and clicks Connect with their own PointBagel account.
- Claude labels a connector you add yourself as Custom, which means Anthropic has not reviewed it. Anthropic says connectors in its directory and custom connectors use the same technology.
- In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add --transport http pointbagel https://pointbagel.com/api/mcp
- Add PointBagel on the web or in the desktop app. Once it is connected, it is there in the Claude app on your phone the next time you sign in.
How to connect
- Open claude.ai and go to Customize, then Connectors. You can also get there from Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the PointBagel endpoint: https://pointbagel.com/api/mcp
- Click Add, then Connect, and approve access on the PointBagel screen.

After you connect
- Add your cards at pointbagel.com/cards, by hand or by connecting a bank. Manual cards are free; Free syncs one card.
- Identify each synced account: a synced account scores nothing until you say which card it is.
- Ask. The AI assistant relays what the engine computed from the wallet you just built.
Common questions
Is PointBagel in Anthropic's connector directory?
Not yet. We submitted PointBagel on August 14, 2026, and it is still in review. You do not need to wait: a custom connector uses the same connection, and it works today.
How do I use it in a chat?
Click the plus button in the chat box, open Connectors, and turn PointBagel on. Claude asks before it uses a tool; only choose Always allow for connectors you trust.
How do I disconnect?
In Claude, open Connectors, find PointBagel, and choose Remove. Whatever your Claude plan, you can also revoke access from PointBagel under Settings, then Connected AI assistants.
