PointBagel ships 130+ curated cents-per-point benchmarks keyed by program × redemption method, with min/typical/max ranges where a program has an award chart and one value at every setting where it prices off the cash fare or a fixed peg. AwardWallet’s methodology is transparent and empirical; PointBagel’s granularity answers "what CPP should I expect for this specific redemption?" keyed to the redemption method and wired into the optimizer.

AwardWallet publishes a reference table of transfer ratios and average posting times covering major transferable currencies - it reports the data without routing you to the highest-value transfer. Security posture and data model
AwardWallet ships credit-card spend analysis against connected card accounts - per its App Store listing: "Add your bank accounts to AwardWallet and let AwardWallet analyze your spend and tell you if you are using the right credit cards." PointBagel uses Plaid for read-only bank aggregation, which covers any Plaid-supported issuer (which is most of them) without storing credentials, and feeds the optimization engine - earning caps, welcome-offer progress, benefit fee coverage - rather than a standalone analysis view. Both tools analyze spend from connected accounts; PointBagel’s Plaid connection is read-only and keeps banking credentials out of our system. Pick the connection model you prefer.

AwardWallet runs on iOS and Android and ships browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (per live store listings). PointBagel connects to ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP-compatible assistants read-only, so you can ask about your own wallet: which card to use, what a balance is worth to transfer, whether a fee still pays for itself, answered from your data. AwardWallet does not document a connection to ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI assistants; its surface is balance tracking and spend analysis inside its own app. If reaching your rewards data from the assistant you already use matters to you, that is a PointBagel-side capability today.
