Do the BJ's cards earn rewards at BJ's Gas?

No. BJ's Gas purchases do not earn rewards on the BJ's One or BJ's One+ cards.

Which card should I use at BJ's?

BJ's One+™ Mastercard® and BJ's One® Mastercard® have their own rate at BJ's Wholesale. Every rate below was checked against the card issuer's or the store's own pages.

Cards are ordered by the value they earn per dollar here at our Balanced point values. The order is never paid for. Value per $100 assumes you have room left under any earning cap. Where a rate needs a membership, the value is for the first rate the row shows.

How purchases at BJ's are counted

BJ's payment help page lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express among the cards BJ's takes.

Purchases at BJ's Gas earn no rewards on the BJ's One and BJ's One+ cards.

At BJ's Gas, when you scan your membership card, paying with the BJ's One card takes 10 cents off each gallon and paying with the BJ's One+ card takes 15 cents off each gallon.

Barclays notes that warehouse clubs generally do not use the grocery store merchant category code.

American Express, for example, does not count warehouse clubs such as BJ's as U.S. supermarkets.
