Which card should I use at Costco?
Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi and Costco Anywhere Visa® Business Card by Citi have their own rate at Costco. Every rate below was checked against the card issuer's or the store's own pages.

- Does Costco take Mastercard or American Express?
- Not in its warehouses or at its gas stations, which take Visa cards only. Costco.com takes Visa and Mastercard.
- Does Costco count as a grocery store for card rewards?
- Not on every card. Barclays, for example, notes that warehouse clubs generally do not use the grocery store merchant category code.
