Bilt is running two Rent Day transfer bonuses on October 1, one to Amtrak and one to Hilton. The size of the bonus depends on your Bilt status when you transfer, so we worked out what each one makes a Bilt point worth at every status.
The number to beat is 2.50 cents. That's what a Bilt point is worth at our Balanced setting, which is PointBagel's default and the one we use below. If you value points more cautiously, our Conservative setting puts a Bilt point at 1.48 cents. If you mostly book premium flights and hotels, Aspirational puts it at 3.56 cents.
Amtrak
Bilt normally converts to Amtrak at 2 to 1. On October 1 you get 25% more at Blue, 50% at Silver, 75% at Gold and 100% at Platinum, on the first 100,000 Bilt points you send.

Amtrak prices reward trips off the cash fare, and we value its points at 2.66 cents. So at Platinum, moving points to Amtrak beats holding them. At Gold you come out a little behind, and at Blue or Silver it only makes sense for a train trip you'd have paid cash for anyway.
Bilt also lets you buy one status level up for this bonus with $400 of Bilt Cash. Since the bonus stops at 100,000 Bilt points, the most that can add is 12,500 Amtrak points, or about $333 of train travel. It's only a good trade if $400 of Bilt Cash is worth less than that to you.
Hilton
Hilton is normally 1 to 1. On October 1 it's 75% more at Blue, 100% at Silver, 150% at Gold and 175% at Platinum, on up to 100,000 Bilt points. You also get Hilton status right away: Silver at Blue and Silver, Gold at Gold and Diamond at Platinum, good through December 31, 2026.
The points themselves don't go far. We value Hilton points at 0.4 cents, so a Bilt point turns into 0.70 cents of Hilton value at Blue and 1.10 cents at Platinum. Even the best case is under half of what the point is worth kept.
The status is where this can pay off. If you stay at Hilton hotels a lot, instant Gold or Diamond is worth having, and 6 nights (Blue or Silver) or 12 nights (Gold or Platinum) by December 31 extends it through March 2028. The Bilt Cash buy-up moves you one level higher, and at Gold that means Diamond. You can buy one status level higher for $200 or Bilt Cash.
Before you transfer
Both bonuses run from 12:00 AM Eastern to 11:59 PM Pacific on October 1. Transfers go in steps of 1,000 points, and Blue members have to move at least 2,000. Link your Amtrak or Hilton account ahead of time, because you can't transfer without it, and once points move they can't be moved back.
