Bilt Points now transfer to JetBlue at 1:1

Nick SpirakusOctober 22, 20264 min read

Bilt added JetBlue TrueBlue as a transfer partner on October 20, 2026, at 1 to 1. There's no launch bonus. By our numbers a Bilt Point sent to JetBlue is worth about 1.3 cents, roughly half our default value for a Bilt Point, so it mostly makes sense for a JetBlue flight you'd otherwise buy with cash, and you aren’t saving your Bilt points for anything.

What a TrueBlue point is worth

JetBlue doesn't have an award chart for its own flights. It prices an award seat off the flight's base fare, so the points price moves with the cash price and you can't find a sweet spot on a JetBlue flight that stretches a point further. We value a TrueBlue point at 1.3 cents. That includes Mint, JetBlue's business class: Mint awards are priced off the fare the same way, and published Mint redemption data comes out at or below coach per point.

Because Bilt converts at 1 to 1, a Bilt Point sent to JetBlue is worth the same 1.3 cents. Here's how 10,000 points compare:

10,000 Bilt PointsWorth about
Sent to JetBlue (1.3 cents a point)$130
Spent in Bilt's travel portal (1.25 cents a point)$125
At our default Bilt value (2.51 cents a point)$251

How our Bilt value changed

We count JetBlue as one more place your Bilt Points can go, and that nudged two of our three Bilt values up slightly:

Value of a Bilt PointBefore October 20After
Conservative1.48 cents1.48 cents
Balanced (our default)2.50 cents2.51 cents
Aspirational3.56 cents3.58 cents

Rounded to a tenth of a cent, nothing changes: the default is still 2.5 cents and the aspirational value 3.6 cents.

When the transfer is worth making

Since a TrueBlue point buys about the same amount of fare on any JetBlue flight, the question is whether you have a better use for the Bilt Points. If you'd otherwise pay cash for a JetBlue ticket and aren't saving for a bigger award, moving points covers the fare at about 1.3 cents each. That's about the same as the 1.25 cents the same points get in Bilt's portal, so check the fare in the portal too. A transfer can also top up a TrueBlue balance that's a few thousand points short of a flight.

If you're saving for a bigger trip, like a Hyatt stay or a business class award on one of Bilt's other airline partners, that's where Bilt Points earn the value we give them.

Before you transfer

Bilt's press release says "Members will need to link their TrueBlue account before their first transfer." Transfers move in 1,000-point steps, with a minimum of 1,000 Bilt Points, or 2,000 if you have Blue Status. Bilt's help page says most transfers are immediate but to "please allow up to 48 hours," and that once points are transferred "they cannot be reversed," so check the flight's price in TrueBlue points on jetblue.com first.

Where these numbers come from

The transfer terms are from Bilt's October 20 press release and its transfer-partner help page. The 1.3-cent TrueBlue value and the Bilt values are ours. You can see how we build them on our methodology page, and the full list of where Bilt Points can go is on our Bilt page.

Bilt Points Now Transfer to Amtrak at 2 to 1, Worth 1.33 Cents Each

On September 23, 2026, Bilt added Amtrak Guest Rewards as a transfer partner at 2 Bilt Points to 1 Amtrak point. Amtrak prices reward travel off the cash fare, so we value Guest Rewards points at 2.66 cents on every train and in every class. At 2 to 1, a transfer returns about half of our default Bilt value. It can still make sense for a trip you'd buy with cash anyway, and Bilt's minimums, the account link and Amtrak's 24-month expiry rule all apply.

Citi Added Japan Airlines as a Transfer Partner. Here Is What It Did to a ThankYou Point.

On September 20, 2026, Citi ThankYou Points started transferring to JAL Mileage Bank at 1:1 on the annual-fee cards, with a 30 percent launch bonus through October 24 and a quieter 25 percent Avianca bonus on the same window. We read it from Citi's own partner table the day it went live. Here is what the new partner is good for, and why our published value of a ThankYou point moved by a hundredth or two of a cent rather than more.

U.S. Bank Finally Launched Transfer Partners. Only One Card Can Use Them.

After promising transfer partners for December 2025 and then going quiet for eight months, U.S. Bank turned them on - then spent its first three weeks reshuffling the roster. Altitude points now move to Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Qantas, Ethiopian ShebaMiles and Avianca LifeMiles at 1:1, and to ALL Accor at 2:1. The catch: only the Altitude Reserve can transfer, and that card has been closed to new applicants since November 2024.
